Saved Login Issues

If you have a saved password, it can overwrite whatever username and password you type in to the logins fields.  Follow the steps for your issue below. 

* If you do not want to edit or add saved passwords, you can log in using an Incognito window, which does not use saved login information.

1. You Have a Saved Password for One Student But Have Another Student Trying to Login
If you have a saved password for one student, when you try to login a different student, the browser will overwrite the username and password you entered with the saved login information.  The solution is to add a saved password for the new student.  Follow the instructions below.

Firefox - Add a New Saved Password 

1. Open Firefox.
2. Click the menu button (☰) in the top-right corner.
3. Select Passwords
4. Click the + Create New Login button.
5. Enter:
   • Website URL
   • Username/email
   • Password
6. Click Save.

2. You Have a Saved Password that is Incorrect
If you have a saved password that is wrong and needs to be updated, follow the steps above, but instead of adding a new login, edit the current 

3. You Have a Saved Password that needs to be Deleted
If you have a saved password that is wrong and needs to be updated, follow the steps below.

Firefox - Delete Saved Password

1. Open Firefox.
2. Click the menu button (☰) in the top-right corner.
3. Select Passwords
4. In the left sidebar, select the website/account you want to remove.
5. Click Remove (trash can icon or “Remove” button).
6. Confirm the deletion.
