IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU SKIP THE QUESTION, answer all the other questions you can, and submit it. You will re-learn this concept when Dr. Shormann explains it, after submitting the assignment. Why Skip?

Do not stop during the Practice Set to ask for help or research it. Why? This wastes valuable time that should be spent solving math problems, negatively affects fluency, and lowers scores. It is much more effective and efficient to skip it, then have the student watch Dr. Shormann quickly explain it in the video solutions.

If the "Help" links don't help, you have a gap that Dr. Shormann will fill when you watch explain it AFTER submitting the assignment. (See, "Why do I have a gap?" below.)
WHAT ABOUT MY GRADE?
The Practice Set grade is a small part of your overall grade. Most of your grade is based on the quizzes and exams. If you don't skip, you will lose fluency, and your exam scores, and therefore your overall grade will be lower. Why Skip?
WHY DO I HAVE GAPS?
Gaps are caused by not completing assignments correctly. The most common causes are:
You do not follow these steps after submitting each Practice Set: Relearn Missed Problems If you have not been doing this, see: Quickly Relearn Missed Problems
You are not using the Timed Method.
You retake Practice Sets to raise your grade. This negatively affects retention and fluency which makes learning math harder and slower. Instead, follow the steps on Relearn Missed Problems to watch the video solutions for each missed problem and solve it correctly on paper.
In the lecture, you do not solve the example problems on paper. The example problems always have "Ex 4.5" or "Example 4" in front of them.
You guess or do not solve problems on paper before entering your answer.
Someone helps you solve problems during the Practice Set. PARENTS: Other than making sure the students follow the steps on the "Instructions for Practice Sets", you should not "help" the student until after they have watched the video solutions as instructed on Relearn Missed Problems.
