Instead of re-taking these assignments, Dr. Shormann recommends following the steps on the "Study for Exams" instruction sheet, linked on the Course Home page and above the link to the Quarterly Exam.
- If you still choose to re-take an assignment, it may change your grade. For details, read below.
-
Practice Sets and Quizzes: If there is a grade in the gradebook,* retaking these assignments will not affect the original grade. If there is no grade in the gradebook, and you took the assignment in the old site, you can go ahead and retake the assignment then see: Missing Grades from the Old Site
-
Practice Tests & Facts Practices: Unlimited attempts are allowed and only the highest grade is recorded in the grade book. If the student retakes it and gets a higher grade than the one currently listed in the grade book, the grade will change to the new higher grade.
-
Exams: Two attempts are allowed and the two grades are averaged. If both attempts have been completed, the exam cannot be re-taken, unless a parent requests an Exam Reset. If the second attempt has not been taken, taking it will affect the original grade. See "Exam Instructions" on the "Study for Exams Instruction Sheet", which is linked on the Course Home page and above the link to open the Quarterly Exam.
*If there is no grade in the grade book, but you completed the assignment in the old site, please see: Missing Grades from the Old Site
