Live Class vs Self-Paced eLearning

The main difference between the Live Online Class and the self-paced eLearning course is the live class provides more accountability. Students use the self-paced eLearning system to complete daily lessons with video lectures and interactive homework. Then, they upload their weekly homework notes to Dr. Shormann before class each week. In the live class meeting Dr. Shormann review the new topics, answers questions, and provides extra instruction as needed. They also take weekly quizzes and exams in the live class.

Both the live class and the eLearning provide Q&A email support with Dr. Shormann, automated grading and grade recording. Of course a parent needs to monitor the student's work, making sure they use the system as instructed.
