How to Raise the Final Grade?

1. Check the grade book to see if there are any assignments that do not have a grade. If so, have the student open the assignment and complete it. How to View Grades

2. If the grade is still not high enough, see the options below: 
    
   • Option 1: If the student scored less than 75 on Exam 4, follow these steps: 
     •  Complete the steps on the Remediation Plan
     • Request a reset for Practice Exams 4.1, 4. 2, and both attempts of Exam 4 here: Reset Exams
     • Follow the Student Exam Instructions (including supervising the student during the exams) to study and retake Practice Exams 4.1, 4. 2, and both attempts of Exam 4.
     • If the final grade is still not high enough, use the new Exam 4 grade as the final grade. 
     • If that is not high enough, see the next option
        
   • Option 2: If the student did well on Exam 4, you can use the exam score as their final grade. Use the Grade Change Request Form on the Course Home page to request the change. 
      
   • Option 3: If the student did well on Exam 4, but it is not high enough, follow these steps. 
     • Complete the steps on the Remediation Plan
     • Request a reset for Practice Exams 4.1, 4. 2, and both attempts of Exam 4 here: Reset Exams
     • Follow the Student Exam Instructions (including supervising the student during the exams) to study and retake Practice Exams 4.1, 4. 2, and both attempts of Exam 4. 
     • If the new grades don't make the final grade high enough, use the new Exam 4 grade as the final grade. 
     • If that is not high enough, see the next option

• Option 4: If the student scored less than 75 on Exam 4, follow these steps: 
  •  Complete the steps on the Remediation Plan
  • Request a reset for Practice Exam 1, 2, and  Exam 4 here: Reset Exams
  • Follow the Student Exam Instructions (including supervising the student during the exams) to study and retake Practice Exams 4.1, 4. 2, and both attempts of Exam 4.
  • If the final grade is still not high enough, use the new Exam 4 grade as the final grade. 
  • If that is not high enough, see the next option
