Audio Recordings or Read Aloud for Science Textbooks

Internet Textbook

While we do not provide audio recordings for the reading assignments in our Internet Textbook, you can use a Chrome extension called Read Aloud, which uses text-to-speech technology to read webpage text out loud. If you are using our free Internet Textbook, this extension can be used to read the text to your student.

Physical Textbooks with Audio Books

Our science courses can also be used with several physical textbooks, some of which do offer audio books.  Please see the "Select a Reading Supplement" section listed at the end of the Teacher Guide for your course.
