Dr. Shormann strongly advises against skipping any lessons in any Shormann Math Course. Unlike Saxon Math that only has review in the first 30 lessons, the first 25 lessons of Shormann Math not only contains review, they also include new concepts that are foundational to the rest of the course. Therefore, Dr. Shormann recommends all students start with lesson 1 and complete all assignments. Keep in mind the review is critical to developing the fluency (speed and accuracy) required to build on these concepts in the future lessons and to excel on college entrance exams.
