Shormann Math eLearning courses provide daily expert video instruction, interactive assignments with instant feedback and automated grading, and video solutions that can only be accessed after submitting the assignment, as well as weekly quizzes, and quarterly exams. These courses not only save teachers a lot of time they are specifically designed so co-op students, who only meet once or twice a week, develop fluency and achieve higher levels of math.
At Home
Before attending class each week, students complete reading assignments, video lectures, and practice sets in the eLearning course. After submitting each assignment the grade is recorded in the online gradebook and a link to the video solutions is displayed. Students watch the video solutions for each missed problem. Most of the time, the solutions answer any questions the students may have. If not, student's can contact Dr. Shormann and his team and they will reply within one business day. .
If a Co-Op Teacher subscription is purchased, the teacher can view the grades and their work forall the students in their class, change grades, and reset assignments.
Alternatively, have the students email the Results page which has all the questions, the student’s answers, and the correct answers. This Results page can also be printed and turned in during class.
In Class
Because the eLearning system provides all the teaching and grading, the co-op teacher's primary focus is to make sure the student is completing assignments correctly and answer quiz questions. Because Shormann Math has video solutions and Q&A support, there should not be many questionStudents turn in their lecture, homework, and correction notes each week before class starts. Review for the quiz:

There is a study section for each quiz that has a link to the terms to study before taking the quiz. Call out the definition and have the student write the term on their paper. This can also be done as a game individually or in teams.

The quiz study section also has four specific problems for students to solve on paper. Put one of the problems on the board and have the students try to solve it on their paper. Then discuss and answer questions. Continue this process for each of the four problems.

Have the students take the quiz. If your class cannot take the quiz in class, have them take it at home. It is only a four-question quiz that normally takes about 10 minutes. You can also have the students take the quiz before they come to class and turn in their quiz notes in class.

Have students correct missed problems on paper and review them as a class.
- Speed drills and memory games using the Facts Practices (Pre-Algebra) and Quizlet Flashcards, fraction/decimal/percent conversions, formulas, etc.

Co-Op Teacher Pricing
A Co-Op Teacher Subscription is recommended. This gives the teacher access to a solutions manual and a login to view all of their student’s grades and assignments in their class.
