How do I list the Geometry grade on the my transcript?
Generally, you should list the same grade earned in the course for both the Geometry and Algebra credit. If an A was earned in Shormann Algebra 1, list an A for both Algebra 1 and Geometry. See How to Make a Transcript below.
Example: Student earned an A in Shormann Algebra 1 and a B in Algebra 2.
There are two types of transcripts, Subject and Year. How you list the credits depends on which type of transcript used. Learn More: How to High School Transcript
- For Subject Transcripts: List credits by subject. Average the grades for Algebra 1 and 2 and assign that grade for Geometry. For example, if the student made an 85 in Algebra 1 and a 90 in Algebra 2, add them together and divide by two. The average is 87.5.
