Sibling Subscription: What is it and how to buy one?

What is a Sibling Subscription?

After purchasing an eLearning course for one student, you can purchase a subscription (same title) for each sibling in that student's immediate family (not friends, cousins, co-ops, classes, etc) at a reduced price. For example, if Shormann Algebra 1 is purchased for Joe, when Joe’s little brother, John, is ready for Algebra 1 two years later, a sibling subscription can then be purchased for John. The price of the sibling subscription is the same whether the sibling takes the course concurrently (with Joe) or several years later. There is no limit on the amount of time between siblings.

 

How do I purchase a Sibling Subscription?

• You do not need a  code or a specific account to purchase a sibling subscription.  We will verify that you have purchased the course at full price after you have placed your order.

I purchased a course on CD, can I purchase an eLearning Sibling Subscription for that course?

A sibling subscription can only be purchased if the original purchase was for an eLearning course. However, we have a program that allows you to upgrade your CD to the eLearning format of the same title. Please see the article below for details.

Can I purchase a Sibling Subscription for students in my class or friends?

A sibling subscription can only be purchased for a sibling of the primary student enrolled in an eLearning course. Please email [e-mail] for schools and co-ops.

 

Should I purchase the Sibling Subscription along with the primary subscription?

The sibling subscription should be purchased near the time the sibling is ready to start. There is no time limit on purchasing sibling subscriptions. They can be purchased a few months after the original subscription or ten years later.

 

I have two children taking the course at the same time.

DIVE eLearning courses are licensed for use by one student. For use by other members in the family, purchase a sibling subscription (discounted rate). For two children, purchase one eLearning course at full price and 1 Sibling Subscription (see link above) at a discounted rate.
