After completing Shormann Calculus 1, Shormann Calculus 2 is recommended.
However, after Calculus 1, students can use the included CLEP Professor for CLEP & AP Calculus, and take the CLEP Calculus and/or the AP Calculus AB exam. For details, see Calculus 1 Teacher Guide.
After Calculus 2, students can take the AP Calculus BC exam. If your student did not take the AP Calculus AB exam, taking the AP Calculus BC earns credit for both exams. For details, see Calculus 2 Teacher Guide.
A passing score on an AP Calculus exam is the number one indicator of college success. Next, is a passing score on an AP Physics exam. If possible, take the AP Calculus AB or BC exam in May of 11th Grade so the scores can be included with admissions and scholarship applications, which can significantly boost your application in the selection process.
