HOW TO USE SHORMANN MATH IN A SCHOOL

There are several ways to use Shormann Interactive Math in a school.

  • OPTION 1 eLearning Course: The most effective, efficient way for the student to learn, is to use the eLearning course. Unlike a live teacher, the video lecture can be paused and fast-forwarded, allowing students to learn at their own pace. The interactive homework features help links to quickly re-learn forgotten concepts and the instant feedback keeps students engaged. The video solutions, which can't be accessed until the assignment is completed and the grade is recorded in the online grade book, make correcting missed problems easier which is critical to developing long-term retention and fluency. Since the eLearning course provides instruction and grading, the teacher's primary responsibility is to supervise and make sure students follow the course instructions. Even small private schools that do not have a trained math teacher can give their students an excellent, college-preparatory math education.
     
  • OPTION 2 Complete All Assignments Offline: Shormann Math can also be completed offline by purchasing a license for each student for the printable PDF of the Textbook and Test Booklet. These can be printed at your school or this Discount Printer. 
     
  • OPTION 3: Complete Some Assignments Offline Any mixture of these two methods can also be used. For example, some teachers allow students to use the eLearning system but require students to solve all the homework questions for the lesson on paper. Then, after the teacher looks at their work, the student can enter their answers in the eLearning system. Some teach the lesson, then allow the students to complete homework in the eLearning system. Feel free to modify the course to fit your needs. Hybrid Method 
     
  • OPTION 4: Curriculum Sets: Designed for Homeschool, Hybrid, or University model schools where students learn at home several days a week and the parent needs access to the Solutions Manual. . eLearning Student LicenseAccess to the eLearning course which contains all the components needed to complete the course. All course components are licensed for use by one student for 12 or 18 months. Site licenses do not include Sibling Subscription privileges. A minimum of 1 teacher license must be purchased for each course you order a student license.*

  • 12-Month Student License: $54.99 per student
  • 18-Month Student License: $82.99 per student  (Only Algebra 1 & 2)
  • Extensions (120 Days):  $29.99
  • Exchange Fee for Un-accessed Courses: $15

eLearning Teacher License: Required* Allows the teacher to log in to the eLearning course, view the grade book for all of their students, change grades, and reset assignments. It also provides access to the complete eLearning course, eSolutions Manual, and Teacher Guides. For complete product descriptions, see Shormann Math.  

  • 12-Month Teacher License: $54.99 per course

*Required: A minimum of 1 teacher license must be purchased for each course. For example, if 5 student licenses are purchased for Pre-Algebra and 3 licenses are purchased for Algebra 1, you must purchase 1 teacher license for Pre-Algebra and 1 for Algebra 1. Why? School licenses are deeply discounted because teachers handle all grade changes and resets.
 

Offline Options: 

While the eLearning Course is the most efficient way to learn, we now have a completely offline format for all Shormann Math courses that allows students to complete all assignments offline. 

HOW TO PURCHASE

I. If you are ordering physical products and are exempt from paying sales tax, a state-issued Sales Tax Exemption Certificate is required before ordering.
 

II. Request Approval to Purchase School Licenses:

  • Watch the Getting Started Video
     
  • Complete a Live Demo with a School Specialist. Send an email to support@diveintomath.com and include your school name, course title, phone number, time zone and a good time to call that you will have access to a computer. We are available M-F 10 AM - 3 PM.
     
  • Complete this application to receive approval to purchase school licenses: School Application Form

III. After Approval:

  • Once approved, we will send an email with a link to the order form.
     
  • Within 1-3 business days of receiving your order form, we will email an invoice that can be paid by ACH, Credit Card, or Checking Account.
     
  • After the invoice is paid, we will set up your class(es) and an email with login credentials are sent. 

RE-ORDERS

  • Place all future orders by using the School Order Form. 
  • Within 1-3 business days of receiving your order, we will email an invoice that can be paid by ACH, Credit Card, or Checking Account.
  • After the invoice is paid, we will set up your class(es) and an email with login credentials are sent.
