However, because Shormann Prealgebra includes 21st Century topics not found in most prealgebra curriculum, it has a different sequence. So, all students should start with lesson 1 and complete all assignments as instructed.
While this may seem redundant and there may be some overlap, this is essential to building a firm foundation for upper level math and develop fluency (speed & accuracy) that will make learning Algebra 1 much faster and easier!
